Dr. Thomas J. Hebert, Jr., D.D.S.

Outdoors is where I spend much of my out of office time. I especially love hunting with my dog, Chienne. If I am not hunting, I spend my time on the golf course, in my yard shooting my bow, on the river fishing, in the woods exploring, or giving my grandkids a ride on the ATV. I have become an eager reader of magazines, books on dog training, Africa, infectious diseases, and human-interest stories.

When I began Hebert Dental in 1975, I envisioned a dental practice that would treat patients with the highest level of skill, expertise, and care. I wanted the patients to feel calm and at ease when walking through the door.

Our level of skill and expertise is seen once our patients are sitting in the dental chair. We do a very thorough comprehensive examination at the first visit to discover the patient's dental condition. The examination helps us discover what is needed for our patients to achieve an "Hebert Smile". We have had a mercury free dental office since 1981. I am proud of my staff and pleased to be treating patients the way I envisioned years ago.

Although changing smiles is what I do, my passion is really about changing the way people feel. My goal at Hebert Dental is to have a team that can make your smile beautiful and send you on your way with a little more caring, gratitude, understanding and confidence than you expected - all to go along with your dazzling smile.

Stephanie - Office Manager

Having grown up in Jim Falls and being part of a large family, has taught me strong family values. I spend my free time with family and friends. We enjoy 4 wheeling, laughing and when not in motion, watching NASCAR races, GO TONY STEWART!

I came to Hebert Dental after 13 years with a local bus company. I have enjoyed the nice change of pace and unique challenges that working in the dental field brings. I am so excited and blessed to be part of a wonderful team, and most of all, I appreciate how we treat each of our patients like family.

Erin - Dental Hygienist

Ten years of working at Hebert Dental is quickly approaching for me. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. The thing I appreciate most about my time here is how well I have gotten to know our patients. I love that I know them and they know me and I hope they realize I want only the best things for them. I sold the horses about a year ago and began to run and bike. I started running quite a bit over the summer and really enjoyed it, we've got some great trails in the Eau Claire area as well as the county roads near our home in Eleva. I competed in three half marathons last fall and many other races in the area. Dr. Tarpenning and I ran together in a few races this past summer as well. My husband Troy and I now have two dogs, Sam and Chewy that give us laughs and enjoyment. We have been working on our house and doing landscaping. We have a large strawberry patch that keeps me very busy in june. We look forward to many more years in this area.

Melissa- Dental Hygienist

Landscaping and designing gardens is a very enjoyable part of my life. I also enjoy photography, music, cooking, and volleyball. I like begin a part of Hebert Dental because working with others and meeting new people is important to me. The patients are great and the staff makes everyone feel at home.

My family and I are involved in sports. I love to watch my son play football and my daughter play soccer. I enjoy playing volleyball. Outside of sports, I like to travel and shop. My kids sing the Hebert smile song commercial all of the time and think it is so cool that I am a member of the Hebert Dental team. I am proud to be a part of the great smiles Dr. Hebert, Dr. Tarpenning and the staff give to our patients.

Sarah - Financial Coordinator

I am orignally from northwest Indiana and moved to Eau Claire in 1990. I moved to MN a few years ago and have moved back to be closer to family. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends now that I am back in Eau Claire. My interests include card stamping and football. I am a huge Chicago Bears fan. I have a 12 year old rottweiler who I often refer to as my first born. I came to Hebert Dental after 5 years in medical billing and 3 years in pharmacy billing. I am excited to be part of a team that shows such commitment and care to their patients.

I am so excited to be working back in the dental field and working for Hebert Dental is an added bonus. It is so wonderful to work in an office that treats patients as people and not as a number. I am married to my wonderful husband Eric and we have two boys Gavyn and Owen. We spend a lot of time watching and playing sports, any kind will do. As a family we enjoy camping, going to the zoo and making smores over the fire. When I have time for myself I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, baking, and gardening. I love being a dental assistant and truly enjoy working at Hebert Dental. We have a good blend of staff members here who are wiling to help whenever needed. I am especially proud of the personal attention given to each patient to educate them on their dental needs.

Growing up in Osseo, I learned to enjoy the value of hard work. I graduated from Abeka Academy, where I had the opportunity to complete school at home and graduate a year early. I then studied in the medical assisting field before finding work in retail. I helped open new stores, maintain goals and train employees. I was offered a position here at Hebert Dental working with Dr. Tarpenning and felt it would compliment my skills and lead to a fun career! I love working with all of the wonderful patients we have at our office - and all of their interesting differences. I also enjoy seeing patients have fun while at the office and providing them with beautiful dental results.

Being a new mommy of a 1 year old keeps me super busy! I have a beautiful but stong willed daughter named Adison who has red hair to match her personality. There is nothing in this world that is more precious than her. With the encouragement of my husband, I started the search for my dream joband was fortunate to have an opportunity to work here.
